We need law enforcement in this city. MORE officers on the streets at all times in every neighborhood.

At somepoint jail is not about reforming the person locked up. It is about keeping the city livable for the rest of us.

Shutting down the revolving door in our cities criminal justice system would have immediate impact. I don’t know how many businesses here keep going or how we keep police from getting totally discouraged

To the Seattle city government: please stop trying to deflect and start opening your eyes. The city is dying. Please allow police to do their jobs and listen to your tax-paying constituents. Before more people are murdered or hurt.

Time to vote out Every Seattle and King County Politician. They are all more concerned about the safety of repeat criminals than law abiding citizens.

Its time to make violent repeat offenders accountable for their actions and make streets safe again.

We joke when going downtown your odds aren't too bad about being shot or beaten...about 50-50. Not a joke anymore.

The end of authority! Good luck Seattle... I’m going do all I can to stay on east side and assure your failures don’t cross the bridge.

I've lived downtown for 20 years and can't believe how the streets in this booming economy have changed - not for the good

As a New Yorker, who moved here in 2016, I've been shocked and appalled at the unfavorable changes that the city's gone through since my arrival. I come from a progressive city - but Seattle not only went all the way to the left...it went there and jumped off! Accountability is NON-EXISTENT in this city, terrified by the fear of "offending" anyone. This fear is paralyzing and stifling citizens and businesses alike, while offenders are living La Vida Loca in Freeattle. C'mon now! You KNOW you can (and should) do better!

Anyone with open eyes can see that this city's livability is declining. We need a more effective balance between compassion and consequences.

ENOUGH! Quit enabling crime & violence & start listening to the citizens you aren’t protecting.
