Reform the broken Seattle / King County criminal justice system now!

This is not the Seattle I grew up in. Let the police do their job and do something about our drug problem.

I’ve lived in Seattle all of my 67 years. I thought I could retire here for the rest of my life. I don’t think so anymore.

It is about time this intersection be protected against the constant illegal activities.

This petition is a lame attempt at making those who really don't help at all feel better about themselves. Congratulations-- maybe knock down another neighbor's house for yourself

As a lifetime local Seattleite I wish I didn’t avoid the downtown area, but after this week...my heart breaks because it too often seems as if this nonsense, insanity and outright breaking of the law is enabled by those that are here to protect us. I want a different story from someone like Jason Stimson or David Pultorak and until I do; well, we’re probably looking to live out of the city as well.

Do not email me, do not sell or give away my email address, keep my email address secure. What about requiring Restorative Justice process for crimes? (for victims who wish it). And for first and 2nd offenders - in addition to jail and/ or prison time - NOT to reduce sentencing.

Serve the People, stop enabling drug addicts and drug dealers. The s$&@ show we have will cost us millions (like the 192 million San Francisco lost) and it will kill our downtown.

It is time for the change!

I have worked downtown for 25+ years without fear. Until now. I never thought I would say it, but moving away is starting to look good. City and County prosecutors need to stop pandering to criminals to and develop as much compassion for the victims and residents as well as the druggies flocking to Freeattle.

I am so sick of the drugs and thefts being ignored. Our City is dying and the people in charge are completely facilitating the carnage. We are looking to move out of Seattle.

Pete Holmes should be held personally responsible for repeatedly letting violent criminals our on the streets.

Crime in Seattle has gone way too far. The Mayor can site all the statistics she wants, the fact the these two guys with their record were still on the streets is unacceptable

We need more police presence and less tolerance for crime in Seattle.

I work a block or so from the shootings. Last week, an addict came in and took a dump in out hallway. Today I found a switchblade stashed in the hallway. Please start enforcing the laws, including illegal camping, public urination and defecation, littering etc.. It is not compassionate to either the victims or the perpetrators to leave the perpetrators on the street. I don't want me or any other victims to get hurt because of you work on you abstractions and 'global' issues instead of governing and fixing what is right in front of you. Skip the globalist partisan B.S. and do your job to protect law abiding citizens and businesses.

The policy of treating repeat offenders obscenely leniently is not new. A disgusting example is repeat burglar, car thief, and street robber Maxfield Paris Dare. Our elected officials are causing a lot of harm. But we already knew that.
