We can make up class on Friday, or set up online class, will help a lot. And also I already bought the ticket, and apply the visa for travel, the date couldn't change.

It's perfect that there are hurricane up days but not in the middle of a holliday . You could fitt it in an other holiday a little bit more up in the year. A lot of kids booked there tickets to come home.

I have a family schedule plan during the new rescheduled exam dates, I've called the airline to reschedule my departure date, but I would be charged a Ridiculous fee. I'm hoping the exam dates change to a early date for me and others. Thank you.

The hurricane's impact shouldn't effect our winter break, student shouldn't be responsible for the natural impact and it strongly effects international student's travel plan! The school can not change the fall quarter end date!

Not fair to students or their families - too little advance notice to make such a high-impact change.

This decision is not only a scheduling burden for your students, but will have major financial implications for students and their families. Not to mention your adult students who have families and work scheduled on the break to maintain financial solvency throughout your spring terms. Why not cancel your film festival which disrupts students academic process to begin with and use that week for actual educational purposes?

I already have plans and would rather make-up days on Fridays rather than at the end of the Fall quarter.

Not only do I have to have surgery this winter, I have a job that starts, a wedding to attend and I don't have the extra money to travel to and from Savannah an extra time.

Please give some concern for international student. The large amount of airline change fees is unreasonable!

Please remain the schedule! I really want to stay with my family longer and can't afford to change my ticket again and again..

It is not so much for my own personal benefit but for the international students who have flights that must now be rescheduled and that will most likely cause more trouble and money for them. It takes a few days just to get to Vietnam for example and it would be hard for some students to get back to their country and by the time they get there, it may be pointless in the end since classes start again the first week of January. There are also some students who graduate the end of fall quarter many of them have potentially found jobs and the extention of the quarter would hinder them from their opportunities. We attended SCAD in order to have these opportunities so what sense does it make if the same school is the reason we cannot seize those chances? Certainly that student would like to also finish their final quarter in order to recieve their degree.

Alternating Friday classes: Friday Oct 21 - M/W classes Friday Oct 28 - T/R classes Friday Nov 4 - M/W classes Friday Nov 11 - T/R classes Mon Nov 14 - M/W classes Tue Nov 15 - T/R classes

Add Friday classes and Saturday if needed to allow end of quarter/holiday travel plans to remain unchanged.
