Referendum To Maintain Original End Of Fall 2016 Quarter

So many people can't afford to fly home twice for Thanksgiving and Christmas so now everyone has to miss Thanksgiving...?

The flight ticket is super expensive and it is not changeable.

I have train tickets from Toronto to Montreal on the 23rd. I have to cancel those, and won't be able to fly back to Canada until the actual end of the quarter. Now I won't see my girlfriend until June

I wish we could have make up classes on weekends and have our original due dates

We have time sensitively plans and this can't be extended and mess up those plans

I purchased my flight ticket a month ago. If i need to change flight, I will have to pay fee plus difference, totally would be about a thousand dollar. However, I am not the one who brought in the Hurricane Matthew, so I am not responsible to pay for changing flight.

I have multiple appointments for a doctor, dentist, etc. during this extension and my family can't afford this sudden change.

I believe this is unfair, I would suggest that we try having Friday classes instead, but if we still have the extended week I will understand. I love SCAD please don't kick me out for signing this petition I just believe it is unfair for the majority of the international students and those who are planning on flying home for the break.

I had plans set in advance for thanksgiving and winter break that are now completely ruined, not to mention my folks and friends can't afford such a quick back and forth for travel time-wise and monetary-wise.

This plan is an inconvenience to foreign students amd students with prepared and nonrefundable plans.

I'd rather we just forget about making up those classes and cram the courses so we finish on time. And refund us the money of the classes we won't be making up. I'm from Arizona, I won't be able to go home for Thanksgiving if the quarter is extended, flights will be too expensive and it would be a waste.

I have bought air tickets on 19th Nov. , it can not be changed, I hope that the school will be able to leave as planned.

Please re-adjust the day back to original or allow students to complete online. Travel arrangements are complete for my daughter to return home after the original date and I cannot afford to alter these plans. The weekend options noted above are also available. The hurricane was a tragedy, please don't add this tragedy to your students.

Add make up classes on fridays and/or saturdays and delay start of break until day before Thanksgiving

Please change this idea about adding weeks because I already booked my flights and I cant stay. Its very expensive what I paid and it was not our fault. We can use fridays to study and finish before thanksgiving
