Seriously, this is bonkers

I'm a international student from china. I prepared my winter break plan and purchased the airplane tickets 4 mouths ago. Winter break is extraordinarily important for everyone due to thanksgiving day as well as spring festival, which is the moment to spend time with our far away family. If We extend this quarter, it will totally destroy everything:(

Another option is they could offer international students the option of finishing their last weeks online! They already have the infrastructure for that, why not use it!

Fridays and Saturdays are the only solution to make up this time. You can't expect student to lose large about of money changing travel plans.

This adds unnecessary expense and stress to an already expensive and stressful situation The extended quarter will not be in the best interest of the students, faculty or their families. The life's lessons learned from this experience certainly has tested their maturity and sense of responsibility in a way that 2 added weeks of academic instruction will never.

This is absolutely crazy and impossible!!!

There are too many students who will loose hundreds to thousands for their plane tickets and travel accommodations that now have to be cancelled and/or rearranged. This is not the best option. I would much rather Friday make ups.

I am a SCAD Savannah freshman. My family cannot afford to change plane tickets. Please change the dates back!

Already have tickets home bought and can't afford to change them. Can we do online classes for the last week instead?

I have already bought my flight ticket, and it will cost a fee to change it. I understand the school has already done the best they could. However, I still prefer making up the missing classes on Friday than extending the quarter.

This is ridiculous especially for international students that have no way of cancelling their travel plans because of the huge costs they may face.
