I'd like my boyfriend home for Thanksgiving and to spend time with him until he has to leave again. Thanks.

So many plans have already been made with family and tickets have been purchased already., this would mean cancelling plans and having to pay for tickets and flight changes which is very expensive. i would much rather have classes every friday or even on the weekends in order to make it work without having to extend the quarter until december. This is escpecially not fair for the international students, like myself who have already purchased flight tickets which are more expensive.

I agree that this is crazy, I have travel plans that are overseas and everything has been booked and not able to change. I want to be able to end the quarter and present my final without being penalized for not being able to make it due to the time schedule.

We have already taken great financial liberties to get out of town for Matthew, this means that leaving town twice more for Thanksgiving and Christmas is not feasible. Especially since im international, and already have tickets purchased for flying home, and trips planned. It makes so so so much sense to drop some of the unnecessary material, focus on the key information, make up classes on Fridays, and for those applicable, make a class or two online in the end. This is far far too much to ask of hundreds of students and faculty. This is too much.

My family has travel plans on the 22nd and we don't return til the 26th. Meaning I have to drive 5 hrs home on the 22nd to get home so we can travel another 6 hrs. Then I drive 6 hrs home and the next day drive 5 hrs back to Savannah so I can be in class on the 28th. And that's only for 4 days! So then once that week is done, I drive 5 hours home AGAIN. That's ridiculous and exhausting. Makeup classes on Fridays or something. Coming back to savannah FOR 4 DAYS is not a good solution.

Changing the flight to my country will be really expensive and it not fair that I'll I have to pay minimum if 800 dollars to change when it's not my fault.

People bought non refundable tickets home and can't afford to even go home for thanksgiving. Some people didn't have the opportunity to go home this week either so they can't see their families until december 1?

My family already bought my plane tickets, plus other personal travel plans that are already arranged, it would be too expensive plus a waste of money in reservations if I have to take these classes

Why can't we do this instead?
Total of 6 days missed, 5 Fridays left (including the 18th of November). We can add one Saturday to the Fridays, and we'd make up for all the missed days. That's hardly as bad as the proposed plan.

I don't spend over $55,000 a year to this school to not be able to spend thanksgiving with my family.

I don't want to change our academic schedule. If school will do that, who will make up for the loss on my plane ticket

Because of this change, I am going to lose my seasonal job. I cannot give the amounted time to keep my job and will be terminated. Please switch back to the original dates. I am sure students will still work hard and professors will comply to the restricted schedule.

I have already bought the flight tickets for the winter holidays, it's really expensive and can't be refundable. Having Chinese New Year is as important as having Christmas Day for you. Please reconsider your decision.

I have already bought my airline tickets. My famaily is too poor to endorse the tickets. If I have to pay for the tickets again, someone in my family is going to die. SCAD, please pray for my family, amen. Life is so hard.
