I'm not at all happy with the way you all are handling our scad students
You forget if it wasn't for them you all would probably be jobless and homeless

i would much rather prefer Friday classes than have an extra week. No one is going to spend thanksgiving with their families because we'll be swamped with finals and some of us don't have a quick drive home. This is crazy.

Parents may be forced to pay an additional $1500-2000 extra in airline tickets alone. It would appear that the work-around should include Friday and Saturday classes. Understand that Matthew is no one's fault, however if the schedule is left to stand it unduly punishes students, teachers and their families.

I don't want to buy 2 tickets. Honestly, I'd do 2.5 hours of all 3 classes (in a row) every Friday to not have an extra week.

I Really understand SCAD's difficulty in this situation, and understand the burden after an unfortunate event like this. But there has to be a better solution.

Could there be any other days or ways students might make up the lost class room time? Will the school be without power this entire week?

We've not only purchased tickets for our Bee to get home to Columbus, OH. We bought tickets for all of us to go to Utah to spend what will most likely be the last Thanksgiving holiday with my dad, my Bee's grandpa. All travel based on the existing academic calendar. It's too late in the quarter to make such a drastic change.
