Referendum To Maintain Original End Of Fall 2016 Quarter

I would like to have make-up classes on weekend, rather than having quarter been pushed off.

Refund our money or change the schedule.

Already bought tickets. it will cost me more than a thousand dollars to fix it. I understand the hurricane is not scads fault, but I would rather attend Friday and Saturday classes than miss thanksgiving as I can not afford to travel during that "break"

Wedding, travel expenses and general issues do not allow me to come back to scad during the set period of days.

My son has a job he was going to start 11/21

I am an international student and have booked tickets for the winter break and cancellations or changed are going to be very expensive and not fair

I can't afford to fly back and forth that many times.

Extend to December isn't a good solution since majority of students already had a plan

I have an internship that starts the day after the quarter ends.

I had already bought flight ticket and booked a trip to Japan. I can accept makeup days during the quarter but not after the quarter.

I have enough absences to go home anyways. It's a tough situation and I'm not really even all that upset with the school. I can't even say I could come up with a more effective solution, academically, off the top of my head. But the impact this decision has on both international and/or less affluent students (which makes up a large percentage of SCAD's students) was definitely not given enough weight in this decision, and I think it should be reconsidered with a more empathetic mindset.

I have a ticket booked for Ecuador that I cannot change!

My son has a tv show filming on the 28th that he does not want to miss. We already have plane tickets for the filming, his sponsors arranged the schedule for him when they found out when his break was back in August. It will be difficult to rearrange it. We are also concern about final exams.

Please move classes on every weekend because I have already bought flight ticket

The extended Fall quarter format makes it particularily challenging for international students to adjust to.

I would prefer weekend makeup days; plans had been made with my family and nonrefundable tickets have been bought!
