Reduced fees for Kings Schools, Dubai, UAE

I’ve expected more from an outstanding school both on community support and learning.

Children are home .. no house help bussiness is closed . How can we manage to arrange full fee ..

Its shameful how the school has decided to maintain margins and look after the interest of its rich shareholders instead of parents and children who are now receiving sub-par education. Parents should exercise use their wallets and remove children from KINGS next year, instead support the schools who have helped their community instead.

Give us a discount that is, to a minimum, in line with the drop in utility usage monthly rates and the discount offered by DEWA. Is this too much of an ask ?

You will lose some money now supporting your community, but you will gain on the long run a reputation of humanity, putting your students welfare and their parents above balance sheets. This will definitely be rewarded by loyalty from your current students and their parents as well to attracting new students in the future who are searching for schools that are ethical and fair! I am sure the money you will lose now will be much less than the cost of a future marketing campaigns to gain your reputation back! Think of the number of students who will leave the school because you failed them during tough times! Think of the number of potential new students who will change their mind from joining the school because of wrong decisions taken!

C’mon Kings, it’s time to walk your talk... show us that you really do care for your community before you wake up in September to find out you no longer have one.

I think Kings should consider a blanket discount rather than ad hoc. And the fact other Peer schools including non profit ones are offering discount does not reflect highly on Kings nor does it show any empathy. Urge to strongly reconsider.

I have 2 children who attend King’s School Al Barsha. I strongly feel that in these troubling times it is morally wrong to charge full term fees for home schooling. Most other schools in Dubai have reduced their tuition fees but not King’s. Already families are under immense pressure with pay cuts, loss of earnings, job losses etc and King’s school have not done enough to help their students
