Reduced fees for Kings Schools, Dubai, UAE

I hope signing this petition is not a waste of time. In good times, any increase the school requested on tuition fees, each and every single parent complied, so now show us ur good deed in return when its tough on everyone.

I am disappointed that due consideration has been taken to the current situation, even in the form of a gesture, this effects us all in some way of form and I would suggest (including myself) have had to endure considerable reductions in income and as a profit generating school the minimal consideration should be to offer the profit margin back not even considering the lowered overheads incurred.

I have 3 kids, one in secondary (year 10) and 2 at Nad El Sheba. It's very difficult at home to keep up with all the homeschooling as well as businesses are very slow

Up until this point we didn’t even know that not all King’s families are treated the same - where is the REPECT they try to teach our children and asking us to show for the work they do by paying same amount now in the period when nothing is same as it how it used to be!!! We should all be treated the same and only if we are All together we can overcome it!!! The discrimination by the school most probably protected by many paperwork that is against any personal data privacy of the companies is quite opposite to respectful treatment that school is showing to the parents !!!! Why on the earth they deadlines that not just NOW abut even in the THE PAST they‘Ve been treating different families differently in private and personal choice of schooling now?!?

We need to get this right, as mum we are doing all the work home and still paying the same amount! The amount we need to save can help family to get get equipment and software needed for E- learning .

Home e learning and school learning have a vast difference. Not using any school resources and Extracurricular activities certainly don't justify 100% fees. Also covid impact is on financial condition of many families. KHDA and school authorities should consider a reduction in fees. As we have already paid for entire year, next year it should be adjusted.

I am an artist and my husband is in software. Dubai art salon has been cancelled, the workshops that I normally do are cancelled and my current income is 0aed. My husband is working, but due to companies circumstances we have been asked to forego 2 weeks salary in order for them to continue paying others during this difficult times. We are all making different kind of sacrifices to help others it would be of great help if kings could offer 30% discount for this term. Regards Priya

schools needs to provide 50% relief on fees substantially, for a period of three months, for the amounts taken now not to demand the school fee for the next semester for a period of three months. This would give us a breathing space and provide us time to organize the necessary finances for supporting our children’s education.

It is disappointing that the measure to protect communities from the further spread of COVID-19 KHDA On 30 March in the Gulf News announced that payment of Dubai school fees needs compromise from schools but school Is not in line with this directive, and not showing RESILIENCE that is something they are trying to teach our children and asking us to be. We are all equally in this together and the school strategy to deal with the NEW crises situation only by school’s PAST solutions without equal treatment to all the King’s families, only shows luck of resilience and asking the families to be the only one resilient and to show compromises now.
