Unfortunately, situations potentially escalate, and if there are patterns of behavior, they should be addressed as soon as it happens. I think it’s unreasonable that Jimmy should have been suspended by the URKA board. They could possibly have averted this problem with diplomatic measures.

Because I was there in person I didn't see Any physical fighting. A land owner yelling pretty good. Only one person can be punished and the other person really started it. Nothing (don't care anyway).To many spectators got involved to fuel it a little. Wouldn't we really be better off for a so called long term probation over killing this person family income. Has to be something cannot have any fighting or yelling. It's not the first time I seen things happen.

I wasn't at the show but my understanding was his son was being verbally abused , any parent would and should step in.

Jimmy and his family always support every show from numerous organizations. They show with pride, respect, and set the example that has made others push themselves to become better which is noticeable at the shows. The individual that owns the property of Carolina Schutzhund Club was witnessed on both days by numerous individuals acting in a threatening, aggressive, and hostile manner towards many of the spectators and participants. If Lewis Lundy had a problem with dogs on the premises, he should never have allowed the event to take place. If he insisted on only wanting one area for the dogs to relieve themselves, him as well as the club should have made it perfectly clear and noticeable where the proper area should be. Jimmy, his son, and his brother in law were clearly picking up after every dog, as always. To be verbally and physically assaulted and still trying to walk away and continuing to be verbally and physically assaulted is definitely not the professional way to conduct yourself as a business man and owner of a club. Then to start verbally attacking and demeaning a minor, the son of Jimmy, is definitely taking things to the extreme of violence, harassment, and intimidation. I personally applaud Jimmy for keeping his cool as long as he did while he was being assaulted and only took a stand once the assaults turned violent against his son. If I were in his shoes, Mr Lundy might have a whole new look and attitude on life, because if someone assaulted my child, they would really understand what it feels like to be assaulted. He’s a pathetic human to say things of that nature to a child, not to mention the many others he verbally attacked over the weekend without due cause. This club, Carolina Schutzhund Club, is a disgrace to the K9 world of dog sports. Jimmy shouldn’t be penalized at all, Mr. Lundy should be in jail or in anger management.

I don’t know Jimmy but I was at the show. Jimmy’s son was being verbally assaulted.
I saw the spit literally flying from the older guys mouth as he yelled and got close up to his sons face overreacting about a dog using the bathroom at a dog event. This fine and suspension is not right. Jimmy was being a dad. The man yelling was being a rude jerk to a child !

I feel that the punishment that Jimmy received was too harsh for the incident that happened at the show in March 2024. I'm asking for the board to reconsider there approach and action and hear his and the others that were present that weekend side before punishment is to be placed.
