The number of accidents - even the regular minor ones - suggests change is overdue, but please, we don't need anyone else to die. The speed limit along here is just too high!

I’ve been rear-ended turning into Rosemar Lane and have seen several terrible accidents on 109 in recent years. Would be safer at boulevard speed!

50 mph is wayyyyyyy to fast when there are 4 schools on the 109a Babler, Lafayette, LaSalle and Eureka. Slow down the limit. Especially at night when there are NO street lights or in the rain. 50 is just a death sentence for anyone.

It is inconceivable that we haven't made this road safer. Another person has paid the ultimate price today. We must take action now and fix this obvious problem.
