We fully support lowering the speed limits, we take our lives in our hands, especially novice driver daughter , turning right out of Ifold onto Plaistow road into very fast traffic

please reduce the limit to 30mph on Plaistow road further.
People drive really really fast on that stretch. I have witnessed people driving in excess of 60mph many times.

Would be nice to also extend the 30mph limit round into Shillinglee Road past the houses where a number of children live. It is impossible to walk them to school as the road is just too dangerous.

I'd be even happier if it could be reduced to 20mph around schools and cross roads, but any reduction would benfit all residents

I see many Ifold school children weekday mornings standing in the line of traffic because there is not enough off-road area to accommodate them all. Motorists drive past at 40MPH and often much faster. Then there are the multitudes of HGVs in / out of Crouchland BioGas barrelling past. In the afternoon school buses drop the children off on the south side of Plaistow Road where they must run across in front of passing traffic to walk back into the main section of Ifold. It's the same issue of safety for any residents needing to use the public bus services.

The current speed limit of 40 MPH on the Plaistow Road Ifold should be reduced to 30 MPH to ensure that there are no terrible accidents. Our concern is for children using the school buses who have no 'safe' places to wait for and alight from the buses. Don't wait for an accident to happen. Our community needs to be active and not pro-active and we need to have commitment to set up a Community Speedwatch to ensure that the Speed Limits are adhered to by all vehicle users.

I fully support the proposal to extend the 30mph zone to the village sign on Rickmans Lane. My two children currently walk along the road to catch the school bus and go to the village school with cars flying past them at 60mph. It is an accident waiting to happen
