Hackney Wick has a fast dissappearing character which it is up to planning departments to save or in the future be held accountable for their actions.

We live in the old ford locks area, and find the conservation area highly motivated for telling the story of east end.Too much have already been built that ruins the old area.

Don't destroy our heritage like this. We should be preserving these buildings and creating no uses for them.

This is a beautiful building, please do not destroy it by demolishing most of it and altering it's appearance.

There has been too much destruction of canalside structures in London, despite assurances about their future.

This is the very fabric that has help the regeneration of the east end and should be saved and reused It is short sighted decisions that will loose the character of the area for making quick money with a great loss to the area.
