Beautiful old building with historical significance. An icon in the area. Would be a great loss to the history and character of the area if it were to go.

London's heritage is being systematically trashed in the interests of pure, blind greed.

This is one of the only buildings that hasn't been ripped down by developers already! What is the point of a conservation area? Hackney wick is ruined.

This is an outrage, this beautiful building should be preserved in its original state. Once again the LLDC shows little respect for the community who have saved and salvaged these forgotten properties and is instead intent on modernizing and monetizing the area. Outrageous and sad when this is such a unique and beautiful site that so many enjoy so thoroughly.

Seriously over developed! Destruction of a treasured locally loved building. This is up there with the demolition of the Lea Tavern on White Post Lane. Don't do it!!!

This unique historic building needs to be protected. So many of londons beautiful historical buildings have had the soul ripped out of them by develpers. if we do nothing there will be none left

It would be a good thing if the LLDC would do what it said it would do : retain and bring into creative use. !
