This building is one of the few remaining industrial factories, its exterior almost untouched since it was built. The exterior must be preserved, in particular the ironwork. The yard space is vital for those living and working nearby.

Hackney Wick is great precisely because it has a mix of residential property and arts / commercial space. If you remove all of the arts space, and replace with yet more flats, you destroy the very reason why people want to live there.
