The current redesign plan does not stop the speed across the top of tower. It also significantly and dangerously constricts the width of the top of Hoover Road. Mitchell Elementary School is 9 houses down from this intersection and this plan does not add any sidewalks for crossing children. However, it adds useless berms in excess of 10 yards at the hilltop. Furthermore, the current design plan allows for crosswalks at only half of the intersection. We need a new plan that keeps all children, all pedestrians, and all motor traffic safe across all streets at the hilltop. Please support our petition for a new plan!

my kids walk to mitchell every single day and this new layout is literally an accident waiting to happen. get rid of those berms and put in actual sidewalks.
Been thru this intersection many times with cones up and it’s so dangerous when a big truck or bus or landscaping vehicle tries to pass a car. The car invariably must back down. Also the speed across Tower is not deterred by this current plan , only the speed from Tower to Paul Revere is slowed we need sidewalks and crosswalks and stop signs!
