This is a seriously dangerous roundabout, and am surprised its been allowed to carry on as dangerous as it is for so long.

My son in law had an accident there about two weeks ago very dangerous have to have your eyes everywhere .

Can take up to an hour to reach the roundabout from Redbridge Lane during the rush hour traffic.

It is very difficult sometimes to exit from Redbridge Lane East sometimes it takes almost ten minutes

Although I use Roding Lane when I go to the refuse tip at Chigwell, I always return via Gants Hill or Wanstead as I know it'll take at least half an hour to get on to the roundabout if I come back down Redbridge Lane. I moved to the area 2 years ago and have wondered, ever since, why there are no traffic lights at this junction. Assuming the Council sees sense and lights are installed, as the timings would have to be changed anyway, it would also be great if the Council could consider installing pedestrian crossings for those of us living in Royston Gardens, Royston Lodge and Royston Court. Many of us dodge traffic rather than walk through the underpasses in the dark and that's not safe either.

Entering the Redbridge roundabout from Redbridge Lane East is very dangerous due to the amount of risk drivers have to take in order to get onto the roundabout. It is especially difficult to get into the middle or inside lane heading towards the A12 southbound or the M11 because of solid lines of traffic, which often leaves drivers with few options other than forcing their way onto the roundabout cutting off other road users and risking an accident. I live locally but try to avoid the roundabout during peek times because the traffic is absurd, turning a 2 minute journey into 30+ (this figure varies depending on how much of a daredevil the drivers ahead of me are and how much risk they are willing to take to get onto the roundabout). This situation is totally unacceptable and desperately needs to be resolved.

This issue need to be fixed and traffic light should be installed.

I make the journey to Cambridge every morning and ofcourse its a mission to enter the roundabout safely. Not forgetting the queuing in the morning which can take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes from where I live (Highcliffe Gardens). It is almost always impossible to enter the roundabout safely and get into the right lane. Every morning is the same- you are at the mercy of the vehicle drivers entering the roundabout from M11 South or A12- the traffic lights have made it worse as the timing is not right- also complicated by drivers who move at amber at full speed whilst being totally inconsiderate to the drivers that do not have the lights!!

This roundabout is a nightmare but such an important junction is impossible to avoid

Idea ... Suggestion ... traffic from Wanstead and M11/North Circular have to stop at traffic lights, but many vehicles jump the lights so any gap in the flow does not happen, it's continuous. Install "cameras at both these points" and perhaps add one or two seconds longer on red. This will allow a gap in the flow of traffic and help entering the roundabout from Redbridge Lane East.

Im finding getting out onto the Redbridge roundabout quite terrifying these days. You only have a very short window to move onto the roundabout between traffice coming east bound from A12 and southbound from M11 and if a vehicle from either of these roads does go thru an amber or red light which is frequent, you have no chance at all. Why on earth does every other entrance onto the roundabout have lights! Ive seen so many accidents there now - surely the council are duty bound to act on this.
