This is a such a dangerous turning of redbridge lane east. I have had several close encounters where an accident nearly occurred. As a local resident, it is destroying what used to be an easy place to live and commute to. All it takes is to sequence the lights off the m11 and A12 so that there us a few seconds more to allow drivers to turn on to the roundabout from redbridge lane ease. Dear council lets please come and try this turn and see what we mean. action must be taken IRS gone on too long. When will someone listen when a child is killed by another vehicle ?...

causes accidents confusion fustration for drivers no time gap so i can join the traffic .. i use this round about 6 to 7 times a week as its my only closest way to work. it cause me delays to work almost all the time. new drivers in my family cant handle the junction as thier is not enough time to join the traffic on the roundabout. .. please take this seriouslyyyy

This roundabout is extremely dangerous, and a serious incident will happen unless there is something done to improve access from Redbridge Lane East. The traffic congestion on that road caused by the roundabout layout is terrible, not just at peak time.

Extremely slow traffic & you have to pick your moment to join the roubabout which can be very tricky

i totally agree that without the traffice light from the Redbridge lane to the maim roundabout, its very dangerous exit to the main junction. its a huge problem for drivers like myself , as i use that part of the junction every day.

I have problems getting on to this roundabout every day ,with my children in the car I get very scared and nobody wants to giveaway either I say redbridge council SORT IT

Redbridge roundabout this an absolute nightmare to navigate safely even when u are familiar with it. Especially if u are coming south off the m11 and want to turn toward Wanstead and stay on the inside so u can actually be in the right lane to access the left turn or slip road. My partner had a French lorry driver cut right into her inside wing when she was trying to do this.i went out to find her traumatised with her car breached up under the flyover on the pointed paving. I nearly was damaged too trying to get to her. The lane marking just change without any notice or indeed capacity to funnel traffic safely where it wants to go and prevent confusion and cutting up others. Appalling design. Put lights on it...as the do in New York where all junctions this size are signalised. Better people wait and are safe. In fact why is there a roundabout there at all! I wouldn't want to walk under and across it any time of day.

drivers on redbridge lane east do not give way to those coming from roding lane south, people on roding lane come out and sit in the middle blocking the drivers coming from the redbridge roundabout which then halts all the traffic flow. the bus 99% of time cannot turn right from the station without drivers who are greedy and taken up two lanes when there is only one having then to reverse for the bus. those even more selfish often refuse to reverse leaving a state of conflict in middle of road between bus and drivers meaning traffic builds up on the redbridge roundabout. these are just a few of the major problems of this horrific roundabout system. the latest we have noticed is it is getting increasingly harder to enter the redbridge roundabout from roding lane south due to traffic from m11 coming too fast and also from further round . not enough time for you to get yourself on to the roundabout without being hit by something.

Not a regular user of Redbridge Lane East junction but when I do I find it an absolute nightmare.

1. when the bus has to come out of the station and turn right it can take ages because of selfish drivers coming down towards the roundabout who do not leave enough space for the poor bus to get out. 2. cars make 2 lanes coming towards the roundabout at the wrong point (ie where there are not two lanes, and i witnessed an accident because of a driver trying to get out of the station totally surprised by a car coming in a non existent second land towards the roundabout fast so it hit her coming out! 3. there have to be lights at this redhouse pub entrance to the roundabout - too dangerous by far trying to get onto the roundabout without lights. 4. but the buildup from roding lane south, and redbridge lane east is also a major problem and wonder if lights would make that worse? basically the road needs to be wider and in my opinion council should take or buy some of the land round the station and use that to make a wider road of two lanes. 5. if you leave home at 2pm on a saturday forget trying to get on to redbridge roundabout - you will sit in a queue for half hour, so that we have to take alternative route that ends up just as long! nightmare and to think i used to feel i was coming home to the 'countryside' 30 years ago when i came off the tube!!!

There also a knock on effect for Margaret Way with vehicles using this road at high speed as a rat run to get nearer the front of the traffic queue. It's a serious accident waiting to happen!

When lights are changing on the crossing the cars,vans do not seem to stop & care i nearly got run over by white van. In AM & PM it is very heavy traffic build up near both the roundabouts. I fill very strongly that there should be changes near the station and smooth flow of traffic.

This in unsafe for everyone including children's who cross the road in the sinal just after the mini roundabout. its totally unsafe as drivers have no consideration of wether children or elderly people are crossing. We need this sorted
