Redbridge Roundabout - Petition to the House of Commoms

Although I believe in this petition, there is also a need to look at other problems, particularly traffic using Redbridge Lane East. If the traffic exits Redbridge Lane East at a faster pace this will then attract more traffic away from the Eastern Avenue. At the moment cars race between the speed humps sometimes using the wrong side of the road as in the case of the sad accident on the corner of Ellesmere Gardens. At the moment traffic can't speed in the rush hour because of the slow movement of traffic out of both ends of Redbridge Lane East. There are many problems attached to the Redbridge roundabout scheme which need an in depth inquiry before any decisions are made.

I live on Roding Lane South. The fumes of queuing traffic make you feel sick - and this is meant to be a residential road. Please set up traffic lights at the roundabout. The length of the queues are horrendous.

It is about time to improve this roundabout to save time and avoid further accidents!

I have also witnessed several near misses at this junction. There cerainly needs to be better phasing or a new set of lights to be able to join the roundabot safely.

God morning, yes for the last 30 years of my life It's quite surprising that redbridge roundabout is so slow during most mornings between 7-10am. I understand that local government have found it challenging to sort this problem out, but we can't allow another generation to join this queue. Traffic lights, one way during restricted hours, one way all the time, widening I guess would all need to be considered. It may also be an idea to add in traffic lights and to make that work you would also need to add traffic lights onto the approach roads into redbridge lane. If be happy to make a £1000 donation in order to save myself 20 minute a day, 5 hours a month, and 60 hours a year. In fact, let's make it £1,500.00 because that's how much money I could be earning on 60 hours at work and making a productive input to the economy, saving 60 hours of engine running on a 226 Co2 grams car, and burning fuel. I hope you find the useful I wrote this email while in the passenger seat in traffic on redbridge lane leading to redbridge roundabout at 8:23am in a Thursday morning!

Agree that the traffic lights need to be rephased to allow easier flow of traffic.

please do something to resolve this lack of space. either take some of LRT's space or from the pub or redesign the whole roundabout and station area or put lights between the stn and pub entrance to roundabout.

I am stressed even before reaching work!

It is a serious and urgent problem for us residents and must be addressed as soon as possible.

Takes too long to get onto roundabout, waste half hour every morning on way to work
