The Constitution is “We The People”..Not I the Government.
It’s SICKENING that Law Abiding American Citizens are the one that are punished for the acts of criminals. The irony is that Government enacts laws that set innocent people up to be prey, and they don’t care or even find a means to protect us law abiding citizens from criminals that don’t care about laws.

I do not feel safe attending this beautiful park knowing that I would be exposed and not able to defend myself against a possible threat to my children or myself. This saddens me because I am an honest law abiding citizen and resident of Nevada who would love to be able to come and hike and spend the day at Red Rock. I have wanted to be able to walk alone regularly as well and now finding that I am unable to carry means I have to change me plans. I am asking you to please reconsider this decision and not punish the good guys because of the crazy people in the world.

Really? Why would anyone carry an unloaded weapon? 98.5% of all mass shootings happen in a gun free zone and you have one at Red Rock, this should be repealed NOW!

I do not see a compelling government interest that would otherwise create an underpinning instigate to limiting one's US constitutional right and freedom to open carry or carry concealed, and thus wish to articulate my opposition to the current position of the BLM with respect to the instant issue.

Definitely remove this illogical and infringing prohibition in Red Rock. I hike there frequently and have observed mountain lion activity. Occasionally a mated pair. Even as a grown man, a pair of mountain lions is a significant threat. I am a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. Discontinue standing in my way.
