Restore the 2nd Amendment in Nevada's Red Rock Canyon

This is concerning that I a licensed conceal carry, law abiding citizen is not allowed to have my firearm loaded while at Red Rock Canyon. Why not let me protect me and my family like I am able to in other parks. When getting my permit there was an extensive background check that takes more than 90 days. I and others are only permitted if we are law abiding citizens. Just because Red Rock Canyon is a conservation area, how exactly is this any different than the other Federal parks in regard to having a loaded weapon vs unloaded? None! This is an irrational rule that needs to be changed so the my family can visit the park in safety.

Really? Why would anyone carry an unloaded weapon? 98.5% of all mass shootings happen in a gun free zone and you have one at Red Rock? Unreal.

I hike often in red rock canyon, and usually I am by myself which I feel more comfortable when I can carry a loaded gun knowing today’s crime and also that there is a mountain lion definitely in the red rock canyon area specifically first creek

Please allow law abiding citizens to carry a firearm in Red Rock. We are not asking to be able to legally target practice, but to have our rights backed up by the law.

I had my concealed firearm permit for almost 5 years, just completed my renewal class and passed both my written test and shooting qualification today. I heard about red rock won't allow carrying loaded firearms except hunting. Though I do completed my hunter education course and have my hunting license too. I don't hunt here. It can be a remote area, hence i think it should be a place where well trained and law abiding citizens who enjoy a good hike and scrambling can also feel safe and defend their loved ones with firearms, especially with ccw during rock climbing or such.
