In an open carry state where it is legal to carry, no one should dictate whether or not the firearm is chambered or empty except for the legal carrier.

Responsible gun owners need to be able to defend themselves from those who are going to break the law anyway and carry a loaded gun illegally. All this does is allow for perpetrators to do as they please.

Obviously there is no real reason to have restrictions on how you open or conceal carry, that are more strict than state law. Criminals & wild animals don't tend to follow the law/rules. Turing law abiding citizens into potential victims, just dose not make any sense.

Up by the mines on the backside of la madre mt , i had a cougar breathing down my neck, making it's warning sounds, i was unarmed and thankfully he didn't strike.
