Why oh why does it seem like they are always trying to take land away from us? Las Vegas does not need any more building! There are so many houses empty and on the marked as it is. Leave our protected lands alone and go somewhere else! Leave the land to the people who love it and care for it. I think you will find that outdoor Las Vegans are a tough bunch and we will fight to keep out our lands just that, land!

Those of us that enjoy the beauty and serenity of Red Rock don't want to be reminded of the big city by seeing homes overlooking the conservation area and as a horseback rider we have precious few trails as is and can't risk losing any more ground.

We are in a serious drought situation. We are constantly bombarded by the LVVWD to conserve, conserve, conserve and yet they continue to build, build, build. I have lived in Las Vegas since 1962 and I clearly remember building moratoriums being enacted to protect conservation areas and water. The Pat Mulroy theory of "people have to live somewhere...it might as well be here" has obviously been a devastating policy to our resources. Stop Building!!!

We request that the 979.38 acres listed in the Valley West Disposal Area within Red Rock Canyon be removed from the disposable classification in compliance with alternative 2 of the Fall 2014 BLM draft RMP/EIS planning document.

Leave the beauty of Red Rock Alone! Perserve the natural beauty of this beautiful conservation area. There is no need for building only greed is at play here. stop it NOW!

Red Rock is to Las Vegas, what the Grand Canyon is to Arizona, Yosemite to California, Yellowstone to Montana and Idaho. Do not take away our precious little national treasures for more housing and congestion! There's plenty of other open desert space in Blue Diamond and the Sheep Range by the shooting range to ruin, without destroying Red Rock Canyon!

I believe that building on the land in quesiton would compromise the integrity of the surrounding natural resource of the Red Rock Conservation area
