Please keep the tradition. It looks amazing to see red and white. It's so upsetting the things change in education in this city. I taught for 35 years and it's discouraging to see the waste of money for programs and tests. Look how we got on board for parcc testing and three years later it's gone. What's wrong with tried and true tests. Too many changes. Keep the red and white growns

For the few students that may cross gender lines, let them wear the color for which they identify. It seems pretty easy. Townie pride is all about red and white!

Just because you're transgender doesn't mean you have to mess up the caps and gowns for everyone else. EPHS doesn't even have a transgender bathroom so why go this far to change caps and gowns because you don't want anyone noticing you? If you're a female simply wear white or if you identify yourself as a male then wear red. Simple as that

Cap and Gowns shouldn't be changed. it should be red for guys and white for females. if anyone else has a problem they should bring it up to the principle to ask for the opposite color. just because some people have a problem with it does not mean that everyone should be forced to wear the same color,

I came from portugal a couple years ago. Always had the dream of graduating on high school since we don't do graduation back there. My siblings and I always had that dream of sharing the same school but we never did. But graduating on the same school was a bigger dream. They both finally did it, until my turn came. I finally graduated, and on the same school as my older siblings. I was so happy. One a girl (white) and the other one a boy (red). I got white, of course, and it was a dream come true. Every year I studied in EPHS, they were changes. Back in Portugal, school was way better and it would barely have any changes. And if they're would be any changes, it'd be good ones. But Ive never seen a school change so much throughout the years like EPHS is changing. Schedules change every year, lunch times have new rules and new schedules every year, hallways have new rules every year. Every year , it's a new thing. Now this year, EPHS wants to change a tradition that's been goingg on for years! But why? Why is the color bothering you guys so much? It's just a simple color, so why worry about that! Plus, they're our TOWNIE colors. White AND red. You guys have so much to worry about , or change about that school. And now you guys want to simply worry about changing our gowns' colors. The main colors always were red and white, and it should remain that way. So I sign this petition to keep the tradition going.
