Please leave this recycling depot in it's present location by CGP; at this time in our planet's life, we should have more conveniently located recycling depots in our communities and not have them taken away.

Please reconsider closing the depot. With the latest reports on the environment it is irresponsable to do so!

Closing the recycling depot is a huge mistake. It's conveniently located and well run. Every time I go there I invariably bump into someone I haven't seen in a while (an added bonus). I'm not interested in sitting through five light changes at Braid and Brunette to do basic recycling. Why not relocate it temporarily and then work it back into the new plans for the pool site. Getting rid of this fundamental amenity is incredibly shortsighted. Council needs to reconsider this decision. It's a major #fail. ... And, yes, this is my second signing of this petition. For those without vehicles it will be next to impossible to get to a depot.

Please recycle your plan to move the depot outside of NW. Its very worthy of being recycled properly.

We live and work in NW. We drop recyclables off every week without burning more fuel. Please keep it open.

New West needs this depot. It is always busy and for families trying to do their best when busy, having it close by makes staying green easy! Take it away and you will make residents dump more, stock pile more junk which is a fire hazard and show the residents that this is just not a priority which is out of line with what the city wants and needs. Do what is right and listen to your citizens!

No one is going to drive through massive traffic out to Coquitlam

We would like the recycling depot to stay because it is so convenient to us in New West.... I fear that the people don't want to go to Coquitlam, so being said the recycling will be put in the garage, that is not good for our community...

Moving our recycle depot to Coquitlam makes no sense at all. City council obviously have given no thought to the consequences of this; less recycling and more pollution will be the result.

At a time when the city is strategically planning around greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, it seems counter intuitive to be closing the recycling depot.

I cannot believe that our council thought this was a responsible decision. Driving across the community, through one of the most congested areas, to access a depot in another community (that won't even be open when they eliminate our depot), creates more pollution, not less. Some people will stop recycling, increasing garbage collection / landfill. If I lived in Queensborough, there is no way I would do a 30 minute+ drive (which is what it could easily be on a weekend) to go to a Coquitlam recycling depot. Council needs to find a place to keep our depot open right here, as central to residents as possible.

Community input should have been considered BEFORE the decision was made by Mayor/Council who think they know what is best for us without asking.

Re-cycle Depots are extremely important in our society. We could have two, please.
