I think it's only fair for SMC alumni to be granted access into the Rec Center upon graduation. These students work tirelessly through the years at SMC and should be able to enjoy the facilities that have been built for the students. Alumni should be proud of their school and being able to utilize the facility after graduating will only enhance their pride for the school

Student-athletes generate revenue that was used to pay to build this Rec center and when they are successful and continue to represent our college community at the national level after they have already graduated they should be allowed to use the school facilities. Have some pride and flexibility to accommodate outstanding members of the Saint Mary's community, such as graduated seniors

This should be a no brainer...the rec center is absolutely barren during the summer.

He was denied from using the rec center while representing SMC in a school sanctioned sport, which should not happen. Let someone use our great facilities if they are still a part of the school.

Have some pride in your student athletes Saint Mary's, David is representing the school in its first ever regional and you're concerned about him not being in the system? You should know who he is!

classic st Mary's college. absolutely zero pride at this school. glad we paid $200,000 + for an education and got to use the Rec center for 1 year. THANKS SAINT MARYS!!!

Lifetime membership! It could help with networking and add to the rec sports (basketball) at night if you want to have a current and alum league.

Tried to use the pool today before we head out for Raleigh and they would not let me, saying I was "not in the system." Alumni should be able to use the rec center facilities for at least a year out of school, let alone not being able to use it a week after graduating.

As someone who was promised that the Rec center would be done my Junior year at SMC, and subsequently never got to use it, I wholeheartedly agree with extending membership to Alumni. Saint Marys - you called me every day for a month asking for a donation, yet I can't work out in the gym that my tuition helped pay for?

Multiple recent graduates have voiced annoyance at the fact that they are barred from the rec center, many sighted this as a reason not to donate to the school in the future.
