My son graduated from Central High School but was estranged from his friends there because he was in a recovery group. A high school for kids in recovery would have alleviated the stress of that situation.

This is so very important for at risk kids. I have a grandson who has not been in school for quite a bit because school was not safe for him. What a shame that he could not have studied w sober kids. But he has been sober for almost a year - one day at a time.

I feel it is a vital part of recovery for students.
To be able to get an education without the pressures of drugs in high school. A sober school is a life saving opportunity for the community.

There is an urgent need for recovery support services for youth. I enthusiastically support a RHS in St. Louis and encourage others to sign this petition. Let's implement solutions to the substance use crisis facing our youth!
