I was so delighte to move to the area twenty years ago to be Notre Dame which had a shining reputation at one time. How brutal to think that the university would appoint someone so clearly against the principles of the Church!

JMJ/Fr Jenkins and the rest of the libs/lefties in power at Notre Dame: Why do you insist on making fools of yourselves by appointing silly people and nonCatholics to important positions? Why don´t you sophisticated people just get rid of the stodgy, throwback Catholic identity and spare us faithful, loyal, submissive, obedient, devout, fervent, orthodox Catholics? Why?

As a practicing Roman Catholic, I firmly believe that abortion contradicts the tenants of my faith. In appointing Ms. Washington, Notre Dame takes another step in undermining Catholicism. I just cannot understand how Notre Dame can rightfully call itself a Catholic university.
