I have the privilege of being forever linked to Notre Dame ('80) and ('83L). I urge the University Fellows to have the courage to stand by the principle that all are created equal and deserving of protection from the moment of creation. Our Lady, Notre Dame, is the patroness of the United States under the title the Immaculate Conception. Notre Dame's holy and beautiful Grotto honors Our Lady pursuant to this title and commemorates the 1858 confirmation by Our Lady (four years after the Church officially presented the dogma). Much of the world does not respect this miraculous moment. Human life begins at conception. All the more reason why all who are privilege to be entrusted with guiding the University must be humbly resolved to stand by this truth.

I was preparing to send my children to Notre Dame but send them to Baylor in Texas. Notre Dame is too liberal now.
