Food droughts are very dangerous for communities such as this.

I decided to sign this petition to support and help save the south side Kroger’s for the elderly , low income , etc. that really need a grocery store to be exactly close enough to get food.

This Kroger is necessary for residents who have low income or no transportation to another place. If it wasn't here, there would only be a Family Dollar nearby. People should be entitled to produce, which Family Dollar does not carry, among other things.

Springfield resident concerned about the ethics of this closure and what it says about our city.

Makes me sick that Kroger is doing this to a community with such a great need.

We should trust all sides of Springfield with the same amount of equality, respect and love. Although I do not live on the south side, I have lots of family who does.

Why close a store people are literally demanding to spend money at?

We lived over in that area and we usecto shop there all the time. Losing this store on the south side would be a shame.

This store serves not only Springfield, but also Cedarville. It's where we shop. Closing the store leaves thousands of people, many elderly, without a place to buy groceries. Please keep this location open.
