Namibia needs Starlink. It can only be beneficial to the country. Rural farms, Rural schools, Villages and a lot of other areas and people are still without internet. Current service providers doesn't have competition so they do as little as possible they have useless customer service.

Rural people in Namibia was promised internet connectivity a number of years ago. Still large portions of Southern Namibia and I believe all over Namibia including my farm remains without any workable internet coverage.

I am signing this petition to urge government to reconsider the decision to disallow Starlink from operating in Namibia. The reasoning provided for the rejection is flawed and deeply questionable, especially given the urgent national need for accessible, reliable internet, particularly in rural areas that remain completely unserved by existing providers. Across Namibia, vast communities remain completely disconnected, with zero access to even the most basic digital services. Blocking a technology that could rapidly and affordably connect those who have been left behind is not just short sighted, it ignores the realities faced by thousands of Namibians and denies them life changing opportunities. It is unreasonable for government to ignore the enormous potential benefits for education, health services, conservation work, small businesses, tourism, and emergency communication. I fully support this petition and urge government to reconsider this decision in the interest of national development.

Starlink will ensure that the rural areas have access to affordable internet. The systems we do have is unaffordable and not always reliable. It is time to allow Starlink.

The Digital Health Policy requires access to proper internet in rural areas. Some areas remain marginalized for decades l.
