Petition to Reconsider Starlink Licensing Decision and Expand Internet Access in Namibia

Current sattelite internet connection's upload speed is such that VoIP comms is mostly impossible. Teams meetings entirely impossible. No other option is available. Starlink will change everything.

Poor to frequently no cellular reception in Karas region.

I live in a under supported area with absolutely no cellphone reception. We only have expensive satellite WiFi which I will not be able to afford much longer

Namibië didnt have reliable internet

Starlink will assist business performance for greater returns.

Madam President, please step in re. this issue, and let the Namibian peoples' welfare supercede those of the small group of who are trying to block the implementation because they are trying to protect their stake in the internet market. Rural people, schools, hospitals etc. would all benefit immensely from countrywide affordable internet! Please do not allow politics to overshadow the vested interests of a couple of carpetbaggers. Only satellite internet can provide reliable internet to Namibia's geographically sparse and largely rural population. Reliable and competitive internet is also critical to reversing Namibia's brain drain
