There is no way at 28 yrs old, unfamiliar with school systems, and with a beyond unfavorable opinion of public schools, that this individual is qualified to have a vote on anything pertaining to them.

I know Mr. Brown, personally. We were brought up in the same type of Christian-conservative environment. Sad to say, not only does he not have the proper credentials and qualifications, he does not believe in public "government" schools. He is a firm believer in creationism. Definitely convinced he is way out of his field.

It would be a travesty that this man be appointed to look out for the best interests of our children. He fought against the tax that would have helped the public schools in Baldwin County and doesn't even have his children enrolled in public schools. How is this a viable appointment? I find his views and outlook simply deplorable. Do NOT appoint this cretin.

A person who worked against school funding and didn't attend.public schools does not know the needs of public schools. Please reconsider this and appoint someone qualified for the job.
