I pieced together what this petition is about. If I am reading it right it should be brought back to vote. That way the girls can have their friends with them. There are those out there that need this guidance. Our daughter has been in for 6 years now and is doing great! We need more so the organization doesn't go away forever with Noone left to join.

I am the Bethel Guardian of the last Bethel in Ontario Canada. I am also a PHQ and was honoured to receive the degree of Royal Purple. Without adding Masonic Sponsorship to membership qualifications, I don't know how long our Bethel will exist.

please keep in mind that this is an organization for young girls. This organization is not for the old ladies that were Honored Queens a hundred year's ago who want to keep it like it was when you were daughters. You are running the organization into the ground with that attitude.

I am a PHQ of Bethel #13, Boise, ID, Treasurer/Sweetheart Advisor for Treasure Valley Chapter DeMolay. A few years after I left my Bethel closed due to decline in membership. As an adult I can say if the young women of this beautiful order decided that this is the path they want to take, by allowing all young ladies to join regardless of Masonic heritage, then so be it. For a young man to join DeMolay a Master Mason only needs to sponsor the petitioner. I see no rhyme or reason for amendment 10 to be voted down the way it was. As the Supreme Bethel Guardian stated on Wednesday Night Formal Opening " these young women are our employers, and we should listen to them". By voting it down you do not see the young ladies of this organization as your employer nor are you heeding their call to action with the amendment that was proposed. This is the young ladies organization, not the adults.

This organization is on a decline. I was once a proud Jobie. It is something I miss beyond belief! This organization made me who I am today! Please reconsider, there are many youth of today that could benefit from this wonderful organization!

Ps. A Bethel that folded because we couldn't find members. All of the Mason's and OES daughters and grand daughters had already joined. To the point of no other options. Including moving the location of our Bethel to another lodge. :(
