By not allowing this amendment through, we are holding ourselves back. Plus it's pretty darn elitist of us to hold back what we all claim to be the greatest thing in our lives.

While I value our Masonic heritage, I value our order even more. Please reconsider this amendment so that JDI may continue to teach young women the amazing life lessons that I learned! I wholeheartedly attribute my ongoing faith and my leadership abilities to what I learned from the order and I want JDI to thrive so that young women continue to have that influence in their lives for generations to come.

I remember when I joined and I heard the words, "This is an organization for and by the girls." It was one of the driving forces behind why I kept going to meetings. I felt like I had an actual voice and I wouldn't be shot down by adults calling me a naive child. When did this ever become untrue? When did the adults start taking over the leadership and self confidence that joining jobs daughters promised each initiate? As daughters, we have a deep respect for the adults who hold this organization together, but what is this organization without the ability to make decisions of our own and have our thoughts heard?

Our organization will die without the passage if this amendment, we are in desperate of more daughters!
There are many young ladies who could benefit from the opportunity to join this organization, but it MUST be the girls' organization! I'm a MM from Yuba City 40 years ago.

Why has this taken so long?! This needs to happen now before the Order disappears.

I am a grand daughter of a Master Mason and proudly support the Job's Daughter's in opening up the requirements to all girls, no matter their Masonic affiliations, to benefit from the teachings of this Order.

I definitely think that this amendment is a fantastic idea. I have seen two girls in our jurisdiction want to join Jobs Daughters, they would have been fantastic Jobies and yet because they didn't have Masonic Heritage they could not join. They waited for two years to join because everyone in our jurisdiction thought this amendment would have been passed the past two years and it hasn't. I know if we called them and told them that they could join Jobs daughters, they would sign a petition in two seconds. I know with the amendment that so many other girls would benefit. I strongly hope that this amendment will get a second look and will get passed.

Remember - a motion to reconsider requires two things: someone from the winning side must make the motion, and then it's a simple majority. Getting it reconsidered is step one. - we still need to come up with five more yes votes, and lose none

open up membership to match lodge and Rainbow requirements. More potential members by doing so. Membership by Masonic relationship is archaic.

the first time I was an HQ I almost had a full Bethel, the second I barely had 8. It's so so so important that Amendment 10 be changed because with out doing so my Bethel will not last much longer

The purpose of the order is to allow the girls to have a voice. The adults have taken over the order and its time for the girls voices to be heard again! THIS IS A YOUTH ORGANIZATION.
