I have lived in SF since 1983 and the Eagle has been an important gathering place for so many in the subsets of the community in the South Of Market Leather/Bear/Kink communities. It is an important part of LGBTQ history and should be held and honored as such.

The Eagle has huge historical, cultural, and for so many, personal significance as a real, very living, thriving, joyful part all the mentioned communities, and of San Francisco as a whole.

Eagle is such an iconic place. I travel all the way from Australia and it’s always one of my first stops.

I don't think there's any place in San Francisco - in California for that matter - that has as much significance and meaning to me.

It would be a shame to lose another queer space in SF. Love the Eagle!!
