The Eagle has been a significant partner of the larger LGBTQ nonprofit and activist communities since the early 80s. It is one of the few safe spaces left with the kind of history that makes San Francisco a Queer Mecca. I support this initiative in every way!

The SF Eagle really is a part of history. It stretches beyond being a bar! The SF Eagle is a cultural landmark for a great many people from ALL over the world as one of THE Gay Leather Bars to visit and meet others in SAFELY! It has been for more than 20 years!

The SFEagle is a beacon for all those new to the leather/kink or to the area to find their community. It is the heart of our community and their love of building up other organizations to make sure they succeed with the weekly fundraising on Sundays. We need to recognize the SF Eagle as a Historical landmark.
