i know the alex park is a bit less accessable for visitors, and maybe other practical issues, but the carnival belongs in the area, for its heritage, its identity and its pride, things that are dangerous to dismiss lightly

Please move the Caribbean carnival back to moss side. It just was'nt the same atmosphere at platt fields last year.

Mickey Bisson and his side kicks really do have a lot to answer for. For a number of years my troupe have been dealt in a complete unprofessional manner. It is apparent that the grop is acting in a underhand fashion and it is our local community that has suffered and will continue t suffer if we allow this so called group to continue.

The removal of the Bisson's is the only way forward. We need to put together a consortium of both young and old, male and female. Once this group is put together, I suggest that some of the members shadow the Notting Hill Carnival committee to further enhance our ideas and knowledge of Carnival. it has to stay as a carnival and not a festival. Remember what carnival stands for FREEDOM and the removal of any obstacles/evil forces for the coming year.

Carnival should be brought back to Moss Side. I strongly support that the committee should be more transparent and answerable to the communitg. I also strongly, strongly support the removal of Mike Bisson & the current committee! Time for change. "New broom sweeps clean"
