Obviously the first thing is to re-introduce communion rails into all churches. Until this is done, reception on the tongue is more difficult. As an extraordinary minister of communion, I have found that people are unaware of how to present for communion on the tongue. I never have any trouble recognising children when they wish to receive on the tongue.

I think we should go back to having altar rails and Communion on the tongue - given the fact of Whom it is we are receiving.

I am 77 years old and struggle to kneel but I receive my king and saviour kneeling on my tongue not only in respect to our Lord but also as an example.

maybe we should go back to where only the priest and Deacon give communion more meaningfull

The changes must be made in the schools first. Why would anyone kneel to receive "blessed bread"?

Teach all of us who go to Mass the real presence of Jesus in the
Please teach us all again, the Real Presence. Not sure are primary school children are learning this, but then so many do not believe this Real Presence.

It is critical for the Church that the decline in belief in the Real Presence is reversed, and reception on the tongue is key element in this reversal.
