Unfortunately, Mr. Nelson consistently demonstrates an attitude that seems to undermine the very goals that have been placed before the board. With all due respect, I do feel that his presence is a hindrance to the wise and timely handling of the current challenges in our district.

Nelson sets a horrid example for the district and community. There is no way for some that is voted in to this position to be put in a role of leadership who lacks the common sense to treat others with respect: Other board members as well as the community. An elected official is elected to serve the community not feed one's own ego and personal agenda. It is a mistake to put a position of leadership or power with someone who cares only for his position above the needs of the community. Nelson's narcissism and consumption of himself not only hurts the other board members but affects our school district as a whole and most importantly our children! Since Nelson can't play well with others he needs to be ejected from his position immediately!

Steve, please do us all a favor and resign! From my personal interactions with you I believe your heart is in the right place, but your behavior as trustee has been a disaster. You have burned too many bridges with follow board members and with the MVWSD community to be effective, Your behavior at recent meetings has been disgraceful. Please don't make us go through the expensive process of of an official recall.

It is Obvious Mr. Nelson has a personal agenda he is driving and does not have the best interest of the school district in mind

He is not a person who wants to represent schools, he just want to use the power on his hand to play around without adding any valuable contribution

We are living in Mountain View from last 10 years and have seen his behavior during one board meeting and felt horrible. I felt he was kind of threatening a parent from expressing their view in a public forum. Have never seen anyone behaving in that manner in a public forum in my 10 years at Mountain View. Especially when the agenda was for School this is too painful to watch. Frankly I dont know if this kind of behavior from an elected member is allowed even in a legal sense.

Our board has very important decisions to make that affect all the students in the district. Consideration and compassion for all involved is critical in this process is needed. This man has demonstrated his inability to participate in a meaningful civil discussion. His power to disrupt the school board must be removed.

We are at a critical juncture with the arrival of our new superintendent and the unfortunate reality both principals at Stevenson PACT and Theuerkauef have announced they are both leaving. Mr Nelson has to be removed in order for our school community to flourish and move forward with making important decisions that impact our children's future.

There is no place for bullies on or off school grounds. How can we call someone a TRUSTEE when we cannot TRUST him to act like an adult. Get this rude man who cost our kids 1/4 of a million dollars in funds!

Nelson has a one-item agenda, giving a school to Whisman/Slater, at any cost to anyone else. He is blind to the damage he has done and the greater damage his agenda will do, or he simply does not care. Anyone who stands in the way of his one-item agenda becomes his enemy and deserves to be destroyed by all means possible. Nelson has no concern for our district, only for his agenda and seems to enjoy the distress he causes others.

That's enough. Our city is a joke because of this man. If you have lived here 28 years and love this city Steve, please step down for the good of Mountain View. This recall has to succeed. Profanities in the district office? Shouldn't one get arrested or fired for that?

The resignation of Chris Chang is a real loss for our community. A recall would be incredibly costly to the district and a huge waste of the districts precious resources. Please spare us, and consider resigning from the board so that the district can move forward.

It's okay to disagree but let's emulate behavior we want our kids to model. The bullying and lies need to stop!

Zero tolerance for bullies in any venue. Also those on the board who don't have the gonads to stand up against bullying should resign. Shame on the bunch of you.

It is too bad that Mr. Nelson cannot act appropriately, since he seems to represent the ideas of a portion of the voters. But, his behavior cannot be tolerated.

My kids are grown now, but I have been horrified reading the reports of what has been going on in the district since Steve Nelson was elected.

The position on the Board of trustees is to make rules and financial decisions that allows our children to have the best education possible. This is not possible with Steve Nelson on the Board. Please re-elect an individual that understands how to behave appropriately and desires to improve the education possibilities for all our children in the district.
