While a board member can be entitled to his/her opinions, he/she cannot be disrespectful to others. Mr. Nelson has not just been disrespectful but has insulted so many members of the community - we cannot have such behavior on a school board that is supporting our kids and education.

This trustee is not fulfilling his duty. Students needs must come first. Nelson is divisive just to be divisive during meetings. City employees and community members have felt threatened by while he is acting in his role. This is not leadership and definitely not for the good of Mountain View.
