I cannot believe Purelake got away with it for so long! We really need a good pub in Sydenham!

Purelake must not be allowed to leave the eyesore as it is. It should be replaced with an attractive building of value to the community.

As a visitor to Sydenham I have been awaiting the finishing of the architectural important area around the dome. This dereliction is still a blight on my visits. Please get it finished. R Turner

Is Jim Dowd (Labour MP for Lewisham West) brothers with Gerry Dowd (Director of Purelake)?

This is beyond a joke. The pub closed 7 years ago in 2007 and the current state is an embarrassment. Please get it sorted immediately.

I think this petition is a powerful method of showing community concern for its local environment and demonstrates the importance of recognising how development impacts local life and society.

Remember passing what was a beautiful building when I was a child. Now live in the area and that boarded up semi structure needs restoring!

Please, please work towards doing SOMETHING to the Greyhound pub. No supermarkets and no horrible chains. We want local shops and businesses for local people.
