Surely there's some action the Borough Council can take to rid Sydenham of this eyesore, and bring this important site back into proper use

It is appalling that this state of affairs has been left to fester for so long !

It is only a matter of time until this building starts to crumble if it is not looked after and restored - that should not be allowed to happen to a historic pub that so many of us in the community would love to see open again (in the meantime we are stuck with a sad sight which does nothing to suggest investment or regeneration in the area).

Leaving the site in its present state is a travesty. Let's get behind re-building it.

This is a landmark building - announcing Sydenham to those arriving at our town. It was also a fine pub in a suberb location. It needs to be restored to the community!

Have not honoured there planning and left the site looking like a wasteland. All for their own gain.

Purelake have let Sydenham down, and broken the law, time to put things right.

This could be such a great family-pub and an asset to the community, instead of the eyesore it currently is.

This is a longstanding eyesore at the entrance to Sydenham High Street, so it's time the Council started playing "hardball" with Purelake

How hard can it be?? Can legal action be taken against Purelake or can someone else do the job??

I was in the Honor Oak recently. Since it was protected it's been done up and now is a very popular venue. The Greyhound should be resurrected because it is a vital community resource. Purelake have a very funny name when they fail to abide by the law.
