45 years ago, my children loved to sit on the stone greyhounds that stood each side of the porch. I admired the beautiful sand-blasted curved windows on either side of the door. We took friends and family there for a drink, standing at the long mahogany bar with a foot on the polished brass rail below. How could such a lovely pub have been allowed to fall apart? It's almost dead - can we rescue it?

I hope we see Lewisham West and Penge MPJim Dowd support his constituents in signing this petition against the actions of his brother Gerry Dowd's company Purelake.

We didn't want the redevelopment and we have been left with a mess. Time for change.
Please resolve this long overdue issue and bring the Greyhound back!

PureLuke are playing an underhanded waiting game to get their own way with future use of the Greyhound, it's time they acted honourably and finished it as a pub
