FHS is the oldest county high school, and no one could have foreseen when it was situated the need for space in the way newer schools have been accommodated. FHS needs and deserves support comparable to all WCS high schools. This is a one-time opportunity that makes sense. As a parent of three recent graduates of FHS and a taxpayer, I am 100% behind acquiring these two additional parcels for the needs of today and tomorrow.

FHS needs and deserves support comparable to all WCS high schools. This is a one-time opportunity that makes sense. I think adding the Columbia State facility is a great opportunity to broaden the education experience of every student who has the privilage of attending Franklin High.

I think everyone would agree that the animal shelter is a wonderful thing to have, however, an animal shelter can be housed anywhere in the county. The land next to FHS is valuable and clearly, makes sense that it be given to FHS for expansion. Although the animals of WC are deserving of a nice shelter, the students at FHS are deserving of a nice school. Give that land/building to FHS...put the animal shelter somewhere else! :-)
