I think the rules should stay the same. All of you are mad st the school for the rules but you aren’t looking at everyone that dresses informally for school. If you want them to relax on the rules then follow the ones that are already here. Common sense people

Dressing appropriately for school is good for the students self worth. Just my opinion, but if you look like you are goin to the beach , or just rolled out of bed , your performance may reflect that kind of causal attitude.

If this dress code isn't applied equally to boys and girls, I would suggest we consider looking at title 9 and see what else they’re violating. These girls should not be made to feel bad about themselves or thought that they have to dress a certain way to prevent BOYS and MEN from looking at them or sexualizing them. Y’all with the Y chromosomes need to get it together amongst yourselves.

I would like a dress code, but a reasonable one. My daughter is tall and any shorts made for her to be approved by the dress code would be considered capris, so we don’t even shop for school shorts. The gym dress code is almost impossible. If they can’t wear shorts (only approved length which is impossible for My daughter) or leggings without a shirt covering their backside then what can they wear? If it is that big of an issue maybe the school should supply “gym appropriate clothes” or allow them to wear the gym clothes they have always worn. If distraction is the issue, then can you not address the issue on a one by one issue. Why should all students (and parents because we buy the items) be punished? I, for one, will never buy or allow my daughter to wear anything inappropriate and I believe a lot of the parents are on the same page I am. Thank you for reviewing our concerns.

If my mama buy it then imma wear it. parents work way too hard and spend too much money on clothes that we can’t even wear. if it’s such a big problem then the school should just buy our clothes the freak...

Just talk over it, boys should not get disturbed by a hole or shoulder, like joey said, who gets turned on by a hole.
