Reasonable Dress Codes

Talk over it kinda not for the girls that we can wear shorts, and like joey said we would not get distracted by a hole on the leg or arm.

Now girls can’t even wear spandex for gym or slip on vans. This is preposterous, shirts that look long in the front you should know it’s already covering our butt. But no you would like to get on all the girls while the dudes walking around looking like spongebob and Patrick.

get an ac or shut up about the stuff I wear I’m not wearing all this clothing without ac pay for my clothes if it’s such a big deal. It’s all mrs goblin fault she thinks she controls everything she needs to fix her eyeliner . Who’s finna wear all this crap in gym not i it’s already 100 degrees in there . I wanna see mrs goblin up there since she’s got so much to say .

Instead of making these girls feel bad about their bodies. Why not start teaching the boys to not sexualize everything they wear. My daughter has LONG legs and all shorts are more than 5 inches above her knees. And as long as the butt is covered leggings should be fine.

The school district is specializing our girls making them feel like their words can not be expressed in what school clothing they where.

I think it’s crazy that we’re not allowed to wear shorts to gym. it’s like 116 degrees in the gym with no AC. Plus, boys wear shorts daily to school but, there is nothing said to them. If your going to dress code, then dress code EVERYONE! Also, Principal Daily said he wants us to learn but why is he sending us home to change? We’re not learning ANYTHING.

We should be allowed to wear shorts in gym like last year and the rips in our jeans should not distract you or our shoulders.

dress code is way too strict like nobody cares about holes in your jeans or shoulders literally no one for that matter boys shouldn’t be allowed to wear shorts .

Last year I got dress coded on the 1st day of school & had to wait 2 hours for my mom to leave work in Panama and bring me new pants..& literally it was not even a freaking cm from fingertips or the flash card thingy anyways like wtf¿ Something really needs to be done about this.. it makes us girls insecure about things we shouldn’t be insecure about!

What I don’t understand about the dress code is that the teachers get to wear whatever they want but all the students have to be covered up at all times.its like we are prisoners now. What’s next? No neck allowed to be visible? It’s the hottest month of the year in Florida and the schools are making us dress like it’s the middle of winter? What about the boys dress code? Why are the girls being targeted?

These rules are crazy women should have the right to wear what they want.

I just think it’s outrageous that if I wear tights I also have to wear a shirt that’s basically a dress and that they expect us to dress out everyday in gym class but we can’t wear actual athletic clothes , or that if the shirts that we wear shows our bra straps we have to change. Some of us can’t help that . I also feel as though most of our dress code rules are addressed mainly to us girls and I think that it’s not fair . We don’t come to school to be targeted every time we have a whole in our pants or our tights are “too” tight ,we come there to learn and it seems to me that the school cares more about what we wear than our actual education.

I feel like we all different and our bodies are shaped different and if i’m thicker I shouldn’t have to change my clothes because a thinner girl booty not poking out likee and the long shirt thing who wants to workout with a nightgown ?
