We, the undersigned members of USA Dance and other interested parties, hereby request that Todd Kirrane be reappointed as the Chair of Junior Athlete Parents Committeebe by Vice President of DanceSport-Elect Bill Davies and the other members of the DanceSport and Governing Councils.
Todd Kirrane has represented the interests of Pre-Teen, Junior and Youth athletes in DanceSport for the past 4 years. In this time Todd has been a strong voice for parents and Junior DanceSport Athletes in United States.
He has fought hard to make sure that there are no budget cuts for USA World Representatives. He made sure that there are always 2 couples representing USA in World Championships. Todd was the one that brought costume rules to be in line with the international requirements. Todd has worked with competition organizers to make schedules more parent friendly. Todd has donated not only his time but also his money to support Junior Athletes at competitions.
It will take hours to list everything that he has done for Junior DanceSport in the last 4 yrs. Those who worked with Todd Kirrane know that he will work hard and will always be available for parents with questions, complaints and concerns. In 2 weeks if he is not reappointed as Chair of Junior Athlete Parents Committee, we will lose the greatest voice for Junior Athletes in United States that we ever had.

I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO SO MANY PARENTS WHO ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED ABOUT LOSING TODD AS OUR CHAMPION!! THE STORIES YOU ARE SENDING ME ABOUT HIS DEDICATION PROVE HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO TRULY FIGHTS FOR OUR KIDS!! Todd was amazing as a liaison for parents and children. He answered all questions big and small and helped the parents with the rule books, as well as help with coaches and studios. We need him please
Pls immed re appoint Todd Kirrane back. He is one & only who gives me answers to my questions for my 2 young sons who dance for years in Spotlight dance studio, Phila, PA. Thank you! Marina, mom of 2.
When i appointed Todd to this positon originally, it was because i knew of his passion to help and that he was one of the true altruistic persons in our sport. His knowledge and commitment should not be lost because a new DanceSport-VP was voted in by just one vote. He needs to STAY active on the USA Dance Team... for Juniors and everyone else he serves.
Todd is an outspoken advocate for all athletes. With another Dancesport VP at USA Dance who is contentious and does not communicate with the dancesport world of amateur athletes, he will be a strong and necessary voice.
Todd is a passionate and thoughtful leader, one of the few currently in the GC that has a vision that will keep Junior athletes in the sights of this organization.
Pls don't get us parents down! Pls bring Todd back! Thanks! Marina
Dancers and their patents first of all keep this beautiful sport going. As a person who also works with children I can say that If the parents would not be there there would be no one to teach.... FYI

Todd was my first pick to fill this position, when i served as the DanceSport-VP, and in my opinion, still the best pick. His work was exemplary and his concern for the kids and their parents beyond approach.
