I was under the false impression that Readings were no longer selling Julie Bindle’s books, now I see after creating controversy they continue to profit from sales of her books. This is disgraceful. They should apologise immediately!

Firstly, a retroactive banning someone is simply foolish. Secondly, Julie has done more to support women and LGBT rights than most. To attack her this way is reprehensible.

I happily sign this petition to demand Readings Books gives Julie Bindel an apology for their silly behaviour of calling her out simply because she supports women's and girls rights. I call on Readings Books to issue an unreserved apology to Julie Bindel for all the upset and caused.

Your behaviour over this nonsense has been reprehensible. You traduced a highly-respected human rights activist and feminist writer on the sayso of a single complaint. If I were Bindel I would be looking for more redress than a mere apology. Be thankful that she is so gracious.

Not sure if a forced apology is actually an *apology- but either way they really should!

Julie Bindel has been at the forefront of activism in the UK highlighting violence perpetrated against girls and women. Exposing the abhorrent impact of prostitution and sex trafficking of women and girls. A respected journalist and fierce advocate of women's right, voices such as Julie's must never be silenced. She will speak out until all girls and women are safe.

It's time to be the grown up in the room and offer a simple apology to Julie. Surely not that hard?
